Blackcurrant Juice Recipes

Blackcurrant Juice 1
Ingredients:

5 or 6 branches of blackcurrants
100 g of sugar - more if you like it sweet
1 pint of water
3 or 4 cloves
Instructions:
Firstly wash and rinse the blackcurrants. Then put them in a pan with a little water and the cloves. Cook on a high heat until the berries start to break down. Squash the berries against the side of the pan a little. Next add the rest of the water to the pan and cook for around 15 mins. Strain the juice making sure to squash the berries against the side of the sieve to get all the juice out. Pour into a jug and chill in the fridge. To serve make sure to add ice to each glass for a super-chilled blackcurrant juice experience.
Blackcurrant juice 2
Ingredients:

2 pounds (1 kg) of black currants
400 cherry leaves
12 cups (3 kg) of sugar
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
Instructions:
Wash black currants and cherry leaves, dry. Put into pan and pour 3 l of water in it. Then boil. Then filter all. To juice add sugar. Boil. Then add lemon juice and mix. Pour juice into jars. Serve it with water.
Blackcurrant Juice 3
Ingredients:

1.4 kg (3 lb) of Blackcurrants
2.7 kg of Sugar
3.3 Litre (6 pints) of Water
1 cup White Vinegar or 2 Tablespoons of Acetic Acid
Instructions:
Boil blackcurrants in 1.1 lit (2 pints) of water until soft. Then strain well through a sieve or cheesecloth. Boil sugar in 2.2 lit (4 pints) of water. Add the blackcurrant liquid and bring to boil. Add 1 cup of white vinegar or 2 tablespoons of 33 1/3 % acetic acid. Then bottle, making sure to overflow bottle slightly to avoid possible mould on top of juice.

Carrot Blackcurrant Juice
Ingredients:
6 Fresh Carrots
1 Handful of Blackcurrant Berries
Instructions:
Cut the carrots into sections. Juice the Blackcurrant Berries and the carrots. Mix.
