Almond Liqueur Recipes

Nalivkas (Fruit Liqueurs)

 
 
Almond Liqueur
Ingredients:

1/2 tsp. pure almond extract or 3 oz. chopped, fresh unblanched and unsalted almonds
1 1/2 cups vodka
1/2 cup sugar syrup
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients and shake well. If made with extract, mature several days. If made with chopped almonds, mature 2 weeks. Filter, sweeten, and let mature several more weeks.
Almond Liqueur with cinnamon
Ingredients:

3 oz unsalted almonds, chopped
1/8 tsp almond extract
1 1/2 cup vodka
1 dash cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar syrup
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and shake thoroughly. Let steep for two weeks. Filter and add more sugar if necessary. Let age for two more weeks and it will be ready to serve.
Almond Liqueur with Vanilla
Ingredients:

1 lb Almonds; shelled
2 c Vodka
1/2 Vanilla beans
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Water
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 ts Glycerin
Instructions:
Combine the water and the sugars in a saucepan. Heat until boiling over medium heat and until all the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let mixture cool. Add the vodka, vanilla extract, vanilla beans, glycerin and shake thoroughly. Let steep for two weeks. Filter. Let age for two more weeks and it will be ready to serve.
 
Amaretto Almond Liqueur
Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups 80-proof vodka
2 tablespoons almond extract
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
Combine the water and the sugars in a saucepan. Heat until boiling over medium heat and until all the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let mixture cool for about 15 minutes. Add the vodka, almond extract and vanilla extract. Store in a sealed bottle.
Almond Cream Liqueur
Ingredients:

1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz size)
1 1/2 cup whipping cream
1 cup almond flavored liqueur
2/3 cup vodka
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons almond extract
Instructions:
Pour all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator. Shake well before serving. Serve chilled.
