Japanese Cobbler Ingredients: 2 fresh, skinless pineapple wedges 2 oranges 2 lemon wedges 1/2 oz maraschino liqueur 3 oz sake rice wine 1 splash soda Instructions: Muddle a skinless pineapple wedge, one piece of orange and one piece of lemon with maraschino liqueur in the bottom of a bar glass. Add the sake and shake with ice. Strain into a double old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice and top with a splash of soda. Garnish with a sprig of mint, the remaining fruit wedges and serve. |

Sake Bomb Cocktail Ingredients: Chopsticks Beer Sake Instructions: Fill a glass or mug with beer, and set it on the table in front of the person having the Sake Bomb. Do not fill the glass up to the rim. Remember that a full shot glass will be dropping into it, so you need to leave a small amount of empty space in the glass, unless you just like wiping up booze. Place a pair of chopsticks across the top of the glass, pushed close together, so that they form sort of a bridge across the top of the glass. Do not push them all the way against each other. They should be close, but with a little space in between. Pour a shot of Sake, and carefully balance the sake glass on top of the chop sticks, above the center of the glass of beer. |

Sake Margarita
Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz plum wine 1/2 oz tequila 1/2 oz sake 1/2 oz lime juice 1/2 oz simple syrup Garnish: cucumber slice, optional Instructions: Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass. If serving frozen, combine the ingredients in a blender with 3/4 cup ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice, if desired. |
