Redcurrant Liqueur Ingredients: 350 g (12. oz) redcurrents 250 g (9 oz) Sugar 425 ml (5 fl oz) vodka 20 ml (4 tsp) glycerol Instructions: Prick each redcurrant several times and place into clean glass jar. Dissolve the sugar in the vodka and pour over the fruit, add the glycerol and cover. Stir or shake once a day for three weeks. After one months strain the liquid, squeezing the pulp gently, leave to settle before siphoning off the liquid into small clean bottles. Store for six months before drinking. |
